PRESS CONFERENCE AT THE ITALIAN PARLIAMENT AND EVENING SHOWING OF DOCUMENTARY

The Hon. MP Alessandro Pagano introduced the ongoing violation of human rights in China, the media boycott of such news and he remembered the motion against the Laogai we presented in Parliament in 2010 together with another 160 MP’s.

I remembered Harry and the circumstances surrounding his death, the sad situation of LRF nowadays (website and Museum closed) and we had a one minute of silence standing, in remembrance of Harry. Subsequently, Gianni Da Valle, the manager of LRF Italy, a Professor and two Tibetans denounced the ongoing repression against Tibetans, Christians, the capital executions, trade of human organs and the many human rights crimes of communist China. Aldo Forbice, known TV journalist, spoke of the Chinese economic imperialism and its negative impact on western economies.

In the evening at the Casa del Cinema (the house of Cinema) in the beautiful surroundings of the historical Villa Borghese we showed the documentary “Free Chine, the courage to believe”. Francesca from LRF Italy spoke of the ongoing restrictive birth control policies of the CCP and Fabrizio, a Christian leader, spoke of the persecutions against Christians.
