However, the Chinese Government is putting pressure on the Spanish Parliament to shut down the case by taking a vote on changing the Spanish independent judiciary tomorrow on Tuesday, February 11th.
Thupten Wangchen is a Tibetan monk with Spanish nationality and a co-plaintiff in the lawsuit. He will be in Madrid, Spain tomorrow to appeal to the Spanish Parliament.
Help us build a global pressure on the Spanish government to not kowtow to Chinese pressure:

Last year, in a ground-breaking development, Thupten Wangchen and Spain's Tibet Support Committee won an over five-years long court case that indicted five top Chinese leaders of genocide in Tibet. Amongst them are China's former President Jiang Zemin and former Premier Li Peng, who are responsible for the brutal military crackdown in Tibet during the 1980s and 1990s.
Now, the ground-breaking lawsuit is in jeopardy. With your help we can urge the Spanish government to stand up for Tibet against China's pressure and help ensure that these Chinese leaders are held accountable for their crimes in Tibet.
Thank you for all that you do for Tibet.
With hope and determination,
